Vintage Dreams Africa-Development Initiative (VDA-DI), is a registered non-profit in Kenya dedicated to transforming lives and communities by fostering impactful social enterprises and sustainable development initiatives. 

Our Vision is:  Africa where all individuals and communities are empowered to achieve sustainable development, economic prosperity, and social equity through collaboration, innovation, and transformative partnerships.

Our Mission is: To establish and strengthen impactful partnerships that foster social enterprises and innovative community-driven initiatives for inclusive and transformative development across Africa.

  • Community empowerment through participatory approaches, training, mentorship that address their unique needs and enhance skills.

Economic empowerment and sustainable livelihoods

Training and supporting communities in all their diversities, skilling in enterprise development,  income generating initiatives, access to inclusive financing, and markets. 

Climate Action 

Awareness raising on prevention of the likely impacts of climate change. Support initiatives that contribute to environmental conservation, biodiversity, resistant crop and plant varieties, access to clean water and affordable energy. 

Health and well being

Convene dialogues for awareness creation and promote access to primary health services: Nutrition,  RH, Water & Sanitation, and mental health . We target women and girls, men and boys, as beneficiaries as well as allies

Education 

Young professional's Mentorship, coaching programs in leadership and personal development, extra-curricula and career development initiatives. 

Gender and women's Empowerment 

Facilitate and Enhance leadership skills, access to opportunities for women and girls, training, mentorship  and coaching

Agribusiness 

Support women and youth to adopt farming as a business, resilient Agri-practices that increase adaptation to climate change and increase productivity.
